How We Test APKs
Last updated: October 2026
No file is published before it passes the steps below. This confirms the file is valid, installs correctly and matches the listed version.
1. Source check
The source of the file is verified. Files from random reupload sites are skipped.
2. Hash and signature
A SHA-256 hash of the file is recorded and the APK signature is checked. A signature mismatch means the file has been tampered with.
3. Virus scan
The file is run through a multi-scanner with 60+ engines. Any detections put the file on hold.
4. Install test
The file is installed on a real Android device and on an emulator. “App not installed”, crashes or blank screens block publication.
5. Permissions check
Requested permissions should match the type of game. Any unusual permission is noted in the listing.
6. Version and size verification
The version number, package name and file size are matched against the original. A wrong version number is the most common problem.
7. Writing the listing
Install steps, requirements and known issues are stated clearly, so nothing is a surprise before the download.
What we guarantee
We do not claim a file is 100% clean. Testing is best-effort. If you hit an issue, tell us — the file gets rechecked and removed if needed.
